Why this platform exists
Tenant Check Malta was created after experiencing first-hand how difficult and stressful rental disputes and tenancy-related uncertainty can become for both landlords and tenants.
During that experience, it became clear that many people in Malta struggle to find reliable, transparent, and practical information when making rental decisions or resolving tenancy concerns.
Conversations with landlords, tenants, and members of the rental community highlighted a wider need for better communication, accountability, and access to shared experiences within the rental market.
What started as a small community discussion eventually evolved into the idea behind Tenant Check Malta — a platform intended to support more informed rental decisions while encouraging fairness, responsible behaviour, and transparency.
The Platform is designed to operate with moderation safeguards, restricted access controls, dispute-handling mechanisms, and respect for applicable legal and data protection obligations.
